Testimonials

Joe Roddis with his new model image

I was resently presented with an Aeroframe of a
Battle of Britain Spitfire and it's Rolls Royce Merlin II engine.

Superbly framed by Fineline Frames in Norfolk ,it defies my
ability to accurately descirbe the finished article

The craftmanship of both Model and Frame is beyond
criticism and the 3D effect is excellent
.

I really didn't know what to expected when I
was approached by Wayne Dodds of Aeroframes,
asking for my involvement for one of their models
which was to be based on one of the Spitfires that l flew
during the Battle of Britain. Over the year's scene's of my combats have been portrayed by many great artist and what Aeroframes has done is to bring to us a whole different approach to aviation art. They are like nothing else that
I have seen before and will take pride of place
on my wall along with my other picture's.
Due to the limited number made I would think that
this would make them very collectable.
This project also gave me the chance to meet up with my
old friend and Fitter during the Battle of Britain,
Joe Roddis and a great day was had by all.

234 and 238 sqn)
